The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is releasing few details about a fatal collision that occurred between a cyclist and an automobile Nov. 27 on Hess Road near Double Angel Road near Parker. The incident occurred in the late afternoon, and traffic was shut down for several hours.
The cyclist who was killed has not been identified by the Douglas County coroner's office, but charges are pending for the motorist, according to Lauren LeKander, lead public information officer for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
No other details were given about the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
