Kudos to the Chronicle

Thank you for the many relevant and positive articles in the Parker Chronicle. I regularly write the reporters with appreciation for specific articles, such as the recent rescued horse article, which fits the equine community here.  I also like articles written in the style of "Mammogram follow-ups can be fraught with fear," which put real-life stories and emotion along with facts and statistics.

Thank you for not touting the benign and wonderful effects of recreational marijuana, and for not advertising cannabis.

Thank you for not being afraid to write faith-based articles, such as the kidney donor story.

Thank you for following up on stories, such as the teacher who was murdered outside Elizabeth, and the girl who was fatally injured in the Parker store by the automobile crash.

I know people are trending toward electronic means of getting the news, but I for one, love paper copies that show up in my alley. Thank you for covering news in this area and being “our community newspaper.”
