Q&A with coach Anderson

What is the most exciting aspect for your team in this upcoming season?

They are very young and talented.

What is the biggest struggle for your sport at the high school level in Colorado?

Making certain we all “gel” together, so we can reach our potential.

What will readers in your community find most interesting about the team this season? What will be the most exciting for them to see?

We are a mixture of young and veteran players. Very team oriented.

Which starters are returning this season and what accolades did they earn last year?

Eric Kwiatkowski, Kyle Kaminky, Jacob Holm, Michael Petty, Chad Williams, Vince Massa and Austin Fowler. ... Chad William and Kyle Kaminky must lead by words and example. They are natural leaders with charismatic personalities. ... Kyler Baumgartner and Ryan Beckstrom should be stepping up.

At this point, how do you see the league lining up? Which teams will be the toughest this season and which should be rebuilding?

It’s a very tough league. Legend, Mountain Vista, Regis and Heritage are all very tough.

What may define your team in this league?

Which team can play consistently well.

Anything else our readers should know about your team that was not already asked?

They are a great group of young men who understand the importance of hard work during the offseason.
