The Parker Senior Center is offering bingo twice a month to the
community. Every first and third Saturday, people ages 10 and older
can spend an afternoon playing with the chance to win cash
prizes.
The bingo games begin at 1 p.m. at the Parker Senior Center at
10675 Longs Way in Parker. The two opportunities in October to play
are Oct. 1 and Oct. 23. Packets are $8 each and provide bingo cards
for all the games — about seven to eight games.
People can purchase an additional card for $1 for the
double-action bonus game. Players under the age of 18 must have a
parent or guardian present to play. All cards must be purchased
with cash.
“It’s a nice activity for the community and hopefully will end
up being a good fundraiser for the senior center,” said Shannon
Goeser, member of the senior center.
