As of Saturday, Feb. 5, the city of Brighton will not require face masks to be worn inside the Brighton Recreation Center. The sauna and steam room will available for use, too.

 

The Tri-County Health Department's piublic health order thatu required masking in indoor public spaces expires that day. It's up to schools and businesses to decide whether to require masks at those facilities.

 

All Tri-County Health Department health mandates for Adams County will apply to Rec Center facilities.

 

In addition, the city announced an extension of its annual pass sale (20 percent off) through Monday, Feb. 14. The option exists to buy a discounted membership now and wait for up to a year before you activate it. To purchase an annual pass, visit 555 N. 11th Ave. and fill out an application.
