The Town of Parker is looking for individuals to become members of the Parker Cultural and Scientific Commission.

The Cultural and Scientific Commission is an advisory group that works with town staff to recommend a vision and master plan to the town council for cultural and scientific activities for the community. They also review the town’s grant application to the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and make recommendations on items referred by the town council. Interest or experience in the arts, sciences and Parker is preferred.

Commission members are community volunteers and serve in an advisory capacity to town council. Members are asked to abide by a conflict of interest policy.

The group meets quarterly. Those interested should send a letter of interest to the Parker Cultural and Scientific Commission, Attn: Kelly Kuper, 20120 E. Mainstreet, Parker, Colo. 80138 or email kkuper@parkeronline.org.

For more information, contact Kuper at 303-805-3364. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. June 24.
