Rock Chiropractic will host nutritional education events for National Nutrition Month throughout March at 11211 S. Dransfeldt Road, Suite 175, Parker. The purpose of these events is to focus attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating habits. The in-office lifestyle workshop will take place at 6 p.m. March 7 and will provide valuable information regarding nutrition and supplementation. Double Angel Foundation is having the second annual “Ladies Night Out” from 5-8 p.m. March 8 at Servino’s in the Victorian Peaks building, with proceeds to benefit the Parker based non-profit organization. Wild Outdoors. The Wildlife Experience, in partnership with Wildland Awareness and Educational Institute, offers workshops designed to help Colorado families experience the wild places depicted so beautifully at the museum. Wild Outdoor Workshop featuring archery, camping, wildlife identification, orienteering and more are from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12. Parents, family members and mentors learn alongside their children, develop hands-on skills necessary for enjoying the full scope of nature’s beauty at Wild Outdoor Workshops. Free Legal Seminar. Robbins Law Firm LLC, a licensed attorney, will offer a free legal seminar at 6 p.m. March 17 at the Parker Library. The subject of the seminar is small claims court and collections. The seminar is geared toward small businesses in Parker that finds themselves in the situation where they have to file cases in small claims court. Space is limited. Colorado anti-slavery organizations will have a two-hour event open to the public with the purpose of inspiring and equipping teens to become modern abolitionists. The free event, called “Right to Live,” will be from 2-4 p.m. March 19 at the Parker Library, and will feature eye-opening movie clips, a speaker from the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking, group discussions, and activities. Attendees will leave encouraged, equipped with practical steps and resources they can use to start fighting slavery.

Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine will have the annual 9Health Fair from 7 a.m. to noon April 16 at the Parker campus. All services are available to adults (18 years and older) on a first come, first served basis at the Rocky Vista University campus, 8401 S. Chambers Road, Parker.
