A Parker veterinary clinic has received a new sign thanks to funding from the town's urban renewal authority.
Parker Animal Hospital, at 10225 S. Parker Road, received funding from the Façade and Landscape Improvement Program (FLIP). Twice-a-year FLIP funding is now available for businesses within Parker's urban renewal areas.
The FLIP program helped the hospital offset the cost of a new, more vibrant outdoor business sign, according to a news release from Partnering for Parker's Progress (P3).
P3 created the FLIP program to help fund the sometimes-costly improvements to small business exteriors with a goal of improving the overall look and curb appeal of businesses in the urban renewal areas, the release states.
Four projects qualified to receive FLIP funding. Interested applicants can apply during the next grant cycle in November.
