ThunderRidge was fifth at the Heritage Liberty Bell meet Dec. 5
at Heritage High School in Littleton with 111 points. The
Grizzlies’ Josh Jeager finished fourth in the 119-pound tournament.
At 152 pounds, David Leach pinned Arvada’s Jorge Rosario for third
place in 32 seconds.
Derek Munsey took second place at 160 after a 3-2 decision to
Arvada West’s John Zabala in the final bout. Daniel Leach took
fourth at 171 pounds. Mark Ray was fourth among the 189
competitors, and Julian Lujan was second at 215 pounds after a
pinfall at 1 minute, 16 seconds by Arvada West’s Luke Schwartz in
the championship match.
