Joshua Rivero and Anne Barrington will be the Town of Parker’s newest council members after being the top two vote-getters in an April 20 special election.

The unofficial results showed Joshua Rivero receiving 28% of the vote and Anne Barrington receiving 19% of the vote.

The candidates will serve in the positions until Nov. 8, 2022.

These seats were made available after one was vacated by Jeff Toborg, who is now serving as mayor, and Renee Williams, who resigned in September. 

There were seven candidates in the election. The council is made up of six at-large councilmembers who serve staggered, four-year terms.

Here are the full unofficial results, which were posted to www.ParkerOnline.org/2021Election:

-Joshua Rivero - 28%

-Anne Barrington - 19%

-Nate Matthews - 17%

-Danielle Ozaluk - 14%

-Terry Dodd - 9.38%

-Jeeva Senthilnathan - 9.36%

-Doug Butte - 4%
