Kaiser Permanente has announced major expansion plans in
Colorado that include opening a state-of-the-art specialty medical
office in northern Douglas County.
The facility will be located near the intersection of I-25 and
Lincoln Avenue, and the anticipated opening date is 2013, according
to a company news release.
The South Multi-Specialty Center will provide Kaiser Permanente
members with access to a variety of specialty medical services,
including gastroenterology and orthopedics.
Located on Park Meadows Drive, just west of the RTD Lincoln
Station light rail, it will be one of five new medical offices
planned for the state in the next three years.
Castle Rock is among the sites being eyed, with a primary care
focus. Kaiser Permanente is currently evaluating sites to lease or
purchase and anticipates opening in the area in 2011.
Other sites for the expansion include Evergreen, Brighton and
Larkridge.
