Commissioners fail to understand

As a frontline worker trying to fight the COVID epidemic, I am appalled at your (Douglas County commissioners’) lack of understanding how bad this virus is. To say this is nothing but freedom of choice to wear a mask or not shows one of two things. First, is that you do not understand the science behind how this virus spreads, kills and makes people sick. Or second you don’t care about the health of Douglas County citizens, instead you will stick to your ideology no matter how many people you hurt.

The science is clear, vaccines and masks work.

Please put your ideology aside and support the mask mandate so that our children do not get sick or even die.
