Market brings fresh finds

Rain or shine, the Parker Farmer’s Market will be here through the summer.

The annual Sunday summer market that takes up most of Mainstreet in downtown Parker will be open through the end of October. Vendors from local farms and businesses line the street from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From fresh-made breakfast burritos, quesadillas, wine tasting, Middle Eastern cuisine and other samples of a variety of food are abundant in the market.

The market is one of the more popular local markets in the area, attracting massive crowds each time. On a cloudy day June 23, a large cshowed up in record number to the market despite the chance for rain, which didn’t show until later in the day.

New vendors frequent the market weekly. Live music and family entertainment will round out a day of Sunday summer fun.
