In 1996, the church purchased 10 acres of land on West Parker Road, now Mainstreet, a half-mile wide of Jordan Road, and initiated plans to build a church building on that property.
After meeting at Chaparral High School for three years, the church was dedicated and opened for worship, Bible study and ministry on Jan. 7, 2001.
