“The Brightness of Light,” scheduled this weekend, Nov. 15 (7:30 p.m.) and Nov. 17 (1 p.m.) by the Colorado Symphony, will be a premiere performance of the new work by Kevin Puts. Featuring superstar Renee Fleming, it is based on the story of painter Georgia O’Keeffe, her husband, photographer Alfred Steiglitz, and the New Mexico landscape she loved. The Annual Holiday Art and Gift Market opens Nov. 19 at the Depot Art Gallery, 2069 W. Powers Ave., Littleton, and a shopper will also find a selection of one-of-a-kind gifts that range from paintings to jewelry and ceramic pieces.
