Double Angel baseball program
News release
Tryouts for the 2012 Double Angel Baseball teams will begin Aug.
8 at the Double Angel Ballpark in Parker. The inaugural year of the
Double Angel Baseball program is nearing completion, with all seven
teams advancing to the finals in at least one tournament and four
teams winning championships already.
The tryouts are open to players in all age groups and all
positions. The program, with the mantra, “Better Baseball…with a
Purpose,” is skill-development focused to teach the game at the
highest level and prepare players for rigor of high school baseball
and beyond. Double Angel baseball attracts young men with a passion
and desire to represent the game and themselves with character and
integrity.
By playing baseball and participating in community outreach
programs, individuals and teams have experiences that are the
foundation of this unique and growing organization, headed by Joel
Voss and Steve Eaton along with a top-notch team of instructors.
The group has both indoor and outdoor training and practice
facilities and the players serve as ambassadors of the Double Angel
Foundation everywhere they travel.
Tryouts will begin each day at 5 p.m. at the Double Angel
Ballpark. Tryouts for kids 8-10 are Aug. 8 and tryouts for kids
ages 11-13 are Aug. 9 with call-backs for both groups on Aug. 10.
Tryouts for kids ages 14 and up will be on August 11 and 12, with
both days required.
A tryout flyer is posted on the homepage at www.doubleangel.org,
along with a map to the facility. Contact
